The ceiling was covered in thousands of rules. The newcomers would explain their journey and depending on the aspect that guided them, that would determine who would “take you under their wing”. In my dream I only saw one person escape unscathed. Upon arrival and introductions she excused herself from the table. She went into her new bedroom and upon walking on the carpet, she sank and slowly arrived back home at her old lifeless job in fast food. No one cared to bring her back or silence her. She would always have the lingering scars of the mental trauma she faced
